## Abstract This paper investigates the characteristics of the modified meanderβlineβtype patch antenna for the 5βGHz band. Its design was based on a modified meander line width and shorting pin with coaxial feeding. Its maximum measured impedance bandwidth (β10 dB and below) reaches approximately
