โœฆ Synopsis

The superconducting transition temperature T c of quench condensed thin films of bismuth and gallium have been observed to rise as a result of the deposition of silver on the films surface. Increase in the critical temperature ATc was depended on the thickness of the superconducting film and ATc-IK for the very thin films. The effect stems from a suppression of the localization of electrons due to a decrease of the films resistance.
