## Abstract Succinate and acetate, which are excreted by __Hymenolepis diminuta__ (Cestoda: Cyclophyllidea), account for about half the inhibition of DNA synthesis observed when the worms are incubated in a β€œworm conditioned saline” (WCS). Succinate is probably responsible for the bulk of the inhib
