✦ Synopsis
Studies were carried out on the influence of cumene hydroxyperoxide (WNK) at high temperatures on the properties of atmospheric residue of crude oil and on the composition and quantity of the fraction b.p. 350490°C obtained during its vacuum distillation. The overall results of this treatment were an increase in the fraction of boiling range 350490°C together with decreases in coke and heavv metal content.
