## Abstract The adsorption equilibria of bovine serum albumin (BSA), γ‐globulin, and lysozyme to three kinds of Cibacron blue 3GA (CB)‐modified agarose gels, 6% agarose gel‐coated steel heads (6AS), Sepharose CL‐6B, and a home‐made 4% agarose gel (4AB), were studied. We show that ionic strength has

✦ Synopsis
Physical adsorption of dodecylamine on galena (PbS) and on fluorite (CaF,) does not change the dielectric permittivity of pulps at 10 MHz while a chemical adsorption of xanthate on PbS and of oleate on CaF, leads to significant variations. Physical adsorption is observed for hydrophylic species such as nickel hydroxide for PbS and quebracho for CaF, which are used for limiting the flotation of the minerals. Their co-adsorption with xanthate and oleate can be studied by dielectric methods.

## Abstract A method is shown for deducing the surface area of a pendant drop from the same profile photograph as is normally used to determine interfacial tension. Manipulation of such drops by a micrometer syringe then enables the pendant drop to be used as a surface balance for studying adsorpti
