Two "abnormal" peaks, occurring in the temperature ranges 116-166°C and 221-242% at 1 C/S, and having activation energies of 25 and 31 kcal/ mole, respectively, were found by nitriding with ammonia at 690°C specimens of dilute Fe-Ti alloys (0.15 to 0.60 wfo Ti). Peak temperatures and widths varied w
