✦ Synopsis
An Aspergillus sp. was isolated which secreted high levels of /&glucosidase in growth medium. The maximum activity(l0 IX/ml of p-glucosidase and 22.6 TU/ml of cellobiase) was obtained in cellulose medium supplemented with aheat bran. The pH and temperature optima for this enzyme acre 4.5 and 65°C respectively .
