We have generated a panel of deletion mutants of ors8 (483 bp), a mammalian autonomously replicating DNA sequence, previously isolated by extrusion of nascent monkey (CV-1) DNA from replication bubbles active at the onset of S phase. The deletion mutants were tested for replication function by the D

β¦ Synopsis
Polyoma DNA was cleaved with restriction endonuclease HpaII, the fragments were separated by gel electrophoresis and transferred in good yield to separate nitrocellulose filters by a modification of the procedure of E. M. Southern (1975,J. Mol. Biol. 98,503-517.) The filters were then used in hybridization experiments to localize the isotope in different parts of the polyoma genome after in vitro incorporation of labeled deoxyribonucleoside triphosphates into the DNA.

The presence of allelic sequence variations in DNA fragments can be easily detected by measuring the extent of DNA strand exchange between test double-stranded PCR products (target) and labeled standard double-stranded PCR products (probe). Under selected hybridization conditions, sequences identica
## Abstract Beadβbased assays are in demand for rapid genomic and proteomic assays for both research and clinical purposes. Standard quantitative procedures addressing raw data quality and analysis are required to ensure the data are consistent and reproducible across laboratories independent of fl
## Abstract In situ hybridization has been used as a quantitative method to study the replication of SV40 during lytic infection. Various parameters have been defined such as fixation and denaturation of cytological preparations, concentration of complementary (^3^H)βcRNA and volume of buffer used
In an effort to find a simple and inexpensive purification method of polymerase chain reaction (PCR) reaction before cycle sequencing reaction, we compared a commercial system with a precipitation protocol performed in our laboratory. We found that, particularly with small PCR products, our method w
