## Abstract A microโcytotoxic assay has been used to follow the course of the cellโmediated response to a tumour xenograft in normal and ALSโtreated mice. In normal mice a peak response was seen at day 10 in both lymph nodes and spleen. Further peaks of cytotoxic activity were seen at days 18 and 4

โฆ Synopsis
Abstract
An isotopic antiglobulin technique was used to study the humoral response to a hamster tumour grafted into ALSโtreated or normal mice. Approximately 50% of ALSโtreated animals fail to reject the tumour after cessation of ALS treatment. All ALSโtreated animals show a delayed humoral response compared to controls but in those animals which fail to reject tumours, a high level of serum antibody is maintained even in the presence of a large tumour mass.
