## Abstract Longβterm lymphoid cell lines (LTL) cultured under normal conditions use methionine primarily for protein synthesis, although a significant proportion is converted to Sβadenosylmethionine (SAM) and used for synthesis of the polyamines, spermidine, and spermine. When LTL are cultured und
