How can crosslinking of cell-surface glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored proteins activate T cells when the proteins do not reach the cytosol? Recent results show that glycosylphosphatidylinositol-anchored proteins associate with tyrosine kinases of the src family. Kinase activity is stimulated wh
