Chain-transfer constants were evaluated for n-dodecanethiol in the homopolymerization of styrene (S) and methyl methacrylate (MMA). The polymerizations were carried out in benzene at 50 ยฐC with different amounts of 2,2ะˆ-azobisisobutyronitrile as the initiator. The new chain length distribution (CLD)

## Abstract **Summary:** The RAFTโ€CLDโ€T methodology is demonstrated to be not only applicable to 1โ€substituted monomers such as styrene and acrylates, but also to 1,1โ€disubstituted monomers such as MMA. The chain length of the terminating macromolecules is controlled by CPDB in MMA bulk free radica
