The kinetics of the photoinitiated copolymerization of styrene and methyl methacrylate in the presence of ethylaluminium sesquichloride, in toluene solution, has been investigated by dilatometry. The data are in agreement with a statistical copolymerization mechanism involving styrene and complexed
