Abstract

A high‐throughput method for assessing the wettability of polymer libraries has been developed. Droplets of water are dispensed by a liquid handler onto polymer films, and a digital camera mounted on the robotic arm records the spread of the droplets. The surface area of the droplet (related to the contact angle) was measured by image processing software. This method is fully automated and allows rapid wettability measurements of polymer libraries to be obtained.
