✦ Synopsis


The properties of weak links with artificial grain boundary barriers formed by a diffusion of material from narrow lines into high jc microbridges have been studied. They showed Josephson properties as measured by dc and microwave response. IcR products of up to 3 mV were measured at 4.2K for a Pb-BSCO film (Tc=64K) and 1 mV at 77K for an YBCO film (Tc=87K).
