β¦ Synopsis
The spectrum of TaS between 4000 and 20 000 cm Οͺ1 has been recorded in emission from a microwave discharge with a resolution between 0.011 and 0.025 cm Οͺ1 . Seventeen electronic transitions have been rotationally analyzed. Fifteen of these have the ground state, 2 β¬, as the lower state and two of them are transitions between excited states. The ground state has been fitted to a Hund's case (a) Hamiltonian. Effective molecular constants have been determined for the excited states, which are mainly described as Hund's case (c). Perturbations that have been found in the excited states are discussed. Transitions between states that are connected neither to the ground state nor to any of the other 14 electronic states of this work have been found. No analysis is presented for these transitions, but some of their characteristic features are described.

Background and Objectives: Despite disparate treatment parameters, similar success in laser trabeculoplasty (LT) is attained using the argon (514.5 nm) and diode (810 nm) laser. However, the mechanism of this success remains unresolved. To further understand LT, this study characterizes the optical
FT infrared spectra of BrCN have been recorded in the region of the 2 band near 340 cm Οͺ1 , the 1 band near 580 cm Οͺ1 , and the 2 2 band near 690 cm Οͺ1 with a resolution between 2.9 and 4.7 Ο« 10 Οͺ3 cm Οͺ1 . The vibrational levels (01 1 0), (10 0 0), (02 0 0), (02 2 0), (11 1 0), and (20 0 0) have bee
The high-resolution Fourier transform spectrum of the nu(4) bending region of SF(6) near 615 cm(-1) has been recorded at 213 K. We were able to perform a simultaneous analysis of the nu(4) and nu(4) + nu(6) - nu(6) bands of the main isotopomer, namely (32)SF(6). This is the first detailed analysis o
The Fourier transform infrared spectrum of H3SiI has been recorded in the nu1/nu4 region from 2075 to 2315 cm-1 at an optical resolution of 2.3 x 10(-3) cm-1. The nu1/nu4 fundamental bands and the (nu1 + nu3) - nu3/(nu4 + nu3) - nu3 hot bands have been rotationally investigated. Numerous local pertu
