The Si K-and L2,3-edge XANES of tetrakis(trimethylsilyl)silane in gas phase have been recorded. The general shape of the L2.3-edge spectra closely resembles that of the K-edge. With the aid of the MS-X~t calculation, the relation between the spectral features and molecular structure is discussed.

High resolution gas phase photoabsorption spectra of SiCl, and Si(CHa)4 have been measured using synchrotron radiation in the loo-225 eV photon energy range. This range encompasses the Si 2p, Si 2s and Cl 2p edges. Comparison with previous spectra shows that the high resolution is essential for char
High-resolution ion-yield and electron-yield spectra and "symmetry-resolved" ion-yield spectra have been measured at the O K-edge of 02. The 1 s-~\* (3YI) and I s-o\* (3~z-) bound-state resonances are clearly resolved, where the g\* resonance is split into two features. Many Rydberg transitions conv
The structures of two binuclear copper complexes of N,N 0 ,N 00 ,N 000 -tetrakis(2-aminoethyl)-1,4,8,11tetraazacyclotetradecane (TAEC) in crystal form and in aqueous solution were determined by DV-Xa analysis of XANES (x-ray absorption near-edge structure) spectra. The results revealed that a Br -is
