✦ Synopsis
The Raman spectra of the Q branch of the ν 2 band of 12 C 2 D 2 and associated hot bands
, and 2ν 2 -ν 2 ) have been recorded with an instrumental resolution of about 3 × 10 -3 cm -1 and analyzed. All of them have been recorded using high resolution inverse Raman spectroscopy. For 2ν 2 -ν 2 , this technique has been combined with stimulated Raman pumping in order to populate the υ 2 = 1 state. A simultaneous analysis of all the observed Raman transitions and of the ν 2 -ν 5 band recorded in the infrared region has been performed on the basis of a theoretical model which takes into account the rotational and vibrational -type resonances within each vibrational manifold and the Darling-Dennison anharmonic resonance between the ν 2 + 2ν 4 and ν 2 + 2ν 5 states. The determined parameters reproduce the assigned wavenumbers with a standard deviation of the same order of magnitude as the experimental uncertainty.

High-resolution, infrared absorption spectra of the 6 (asymmetric C-H stretch) and 2 2 (H-C-H symmetric bend overtone) bands of jet-cooled CH 2 F 2 are reported with a sub-Doppler resolution of ϳ0.002 cm Ϫ1 . The 12 band of trans-d 2 -ethylene (trans-C 2 H 2 D 2 ) has been recorded with an unapodized resolution of 0.0024 cm Ϫ1 in the frequency range of 1240 -1360 cm Ϫ1 by Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy. This band was found to be relatively free from any local frequency perturbations. By f
High-resolution spectrum of the HDS molecule was recorded with the Bruker Fourier spectrometer in Oulu in the regions of the n 1 and 2n 1 /n 2 / n 3 absorption bands. Fine rotational structure of the n 1 band was analyzed with the model of an isolated vibrational state, while in the analysis of the
