The polyamines putrescine, cadaverine, spermidine, and spermine and the corresponding mono-N-acetylpolyamines can be separated as their dimethylaminoazobenzenesulfonyl derivatives in a single analysis in less than 22 min. The method employs reversed-phase high-performance liquid chromatography (Sphe
