โฆ Synopsis
Submillimeter wave ESR measurements of R2Cu205 (R = Y, Lu, Sc and In) powder samples have been performed for the frequency range from 90 to 380GHz and for the temperature range from 1,8 to 265K using the pulsed magnetic field up to 16 T. The g-values and the line width are obtained from the results of EPR absorption. Below TN, the changes of the ESR modes have been observed at the magnetic fields corresponding to the metamagnetic transitions observed in the magnetization measurements.

Heat capacity of rare earth cuprates R,Cu,O, (R = Y, Tb-Lu) has been measured in the temperature range from 2.0 to 30 K. Specific heat anomalies corresponding to antiferromagnetic ordering of Cu '\* ions are found. The NCel temperatures vary from TN = 10 K (R = Dy) to TN = 25 K (R = Er). For Yb,Cu,O
