Intravenous immunoglobulin (IVIg) treatment was introduced as replacement therapy for patients with antibody deficiencies, but evidence suggests that a wide range of immune-mediated conditions could benefit from IVIg. The immunoglobulins are precipitated from human plasma by fractionation methods. I
