โฆ Synopsis
A stringently selected group of pediatric patients with recurrent medulloblastoma have been salvaged by highโdose chemotherapy. Based on the pediatric experience, the authors of the current study used a retrospective institutional series to demonstrate that adult patients with recurrent medulloblastoma who are treated with highโdose chemotherapy and autologous stem cell rescue enjoy a longer duration of disease control and overall survival than patients treated with standardโdose chemotherapy at the time of disease recurrence.
