✦ Synopsis

In the title compound, [Co(H 2 O) 6 ](C 8 H 6 NO 4 S) 2 , the Co II atom lies on a centre of inversion and is six-coordinate in an octahedral environment. Cations and anions are linked by O-HÁ Á ÁO hydrogen bonds into a three-dimensional network.
