✦ Synopsis
A novel 3D polymeric heteropolynuclear sodium(I) lead(II) complex containing different ligands, [NaPb(ClO 4 )(en)(NO 2 ) 2 ] was synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis and IR, and 1 H-, 13 C-, and 207 Pb-NMR spectroscopy. The single-crystal X-ray data of [NaPb(ClO 4 )(en)(NO 2 ) 2 ] n established that the complex is a three-dimensional polymer, [(en)Pb(m 3 -ONO) 2 Na(m 3 -ONO) 2 Na(m-O 2 ClO 2 )Na] n . The Pb and Na atoms have four-and eight-coordinate geometry, respectively. The lone pair of electrons at the Pb II atom is stereochemically active.
