Herticins A (=(8__α__H)‐10__β__‐hydroxyeremophilenolide; 1) and B (=(8__α__H)‐6__α__,10__β__‐dihydroxyeremophilenolide; 2), two new sesquiterpenes, have been isolated from the AcOEt‐soluble fraction of the MeOH extract of Hertia intermedia (whole plant). Their structures were assigned from ^1^H‐ and ^13^C‐NMR spectra (DEPT) and 2D‐NMR analyses (COSY, NOESY, and HMBC experiments) in combination with HR‐MS experiments and comparison with literature data of related compounds.
