Zusammenfassung. Die Synthese von 7-isomerfreien 6-(Hydroxypropy1)-pterinen wird anhand der Darstellung von ( -)-L-Neopterin und ( -)-D-Monapterin beschrieben. Die Methode beruht auf der Herstellung von reinen, bestandigen Aminoketosen und ihrer Kondensation mit 2,4,5-Triamino-6-hydroxy-pyrimidin (I
