Hepatoma in the Elderly-Follow-Up on a Case Report
Last year we reported a patient with hepatoma (IB) who was 95 years old at the time of diagnosis. He was treated with cisplatin intra-arterially. We now have a 5-year follow-up and 4 years of off all therapy. He continues to do well with a normal alphafetoprotein and ultrasound of the liver that shows mainly scar tissue.
