✦ Synopsis
O O K S 781 that it contains the electrocardiograms of 400 patients and post-mortem reports are included for 136 of them. It is no accident that at least 163 of the patients included had obstructive coronary artery disease, for the authors were aware that the electrocardiographic technique often affords the only objective evidence on which a diagnosis of this serious form of heart disease can be made with confidence.
Throughout the book the reproduction of the electrocardiograms is excellent and the delicate tracings are very clear.
This book is a great contribution to medicine, and we can recommend it wholeheartedly, but we are sad to think that Dr. Hugo Roesler died before he saw the book published.
