The kinetics of absorption of oxygen in aqueous solutions of cuprous chloride (in acidic and neutral solutions) was studied in a glass stirred cell. The reactions were found to be second order with respect to cuprous chloride and first order with respect to oxygen. The reaction rate constants at 30Β°
