Abstract
Measurements of gusts over the peaks of two hills are described, and results in the form of gust variation with height and gust amplitudes are tabulated. The difference in the ratio of gust variation with height to mean velocity variation with height for the two hills may be linked with differences in the wind ratio/temperature gradient curve.
