## Abstract We have investigated the growth and magnetic properties of Fe films on wurtzite GaN(0001) in the ultrathin regime at room temperature (RT). As found from the coverage‐dependent reflection high‐energy electron diffraction patterns, the Fe film growth proceeds in the three‐dimensional Vol
