โฆ Synopsis
Abstract
Single crystals of LโTyrosine hydrochloride were grown by using the submerged seed solution method. The grown crystals were characterized by using single crystal Xโray diffraction. Functional groups and the modes of vibrations were identified by FTIR spectroscopy. The TGA/DTA studies showed that the crystal is stable up to 232ยฐC. Microhardness study revealed that the crystal is a hard material. It is transparent in the entire visible region. The SHG efficiency was determined by the Kurtz and Perry method.
