The Green's functions are determined for plane edge cracks which meet the free surface at an arbitrary angle. Modes I and II stress in~nsi~~tion factors are found for both normai and shear loading of the crack, since coupling is found to occur between each type of loading and the two possible modes

The transient Green's function of the 2-D Lamb's problem for the general case where point source and receiver are situated beneath the traction-free surface is derived. The derivations are based on Laplacetransform methods, utilizing the Cagniard-de Hoop inversion. The Green's function is purely alg
## Abstract Reflection and transmission behaviors of an Eβplane Tβjunction in a parallelβplate waveguide are theoretically investigated. Green's function and the iterative procedure are used to obtain the iterative equations for the __H__~__z__~ field modal coefficients. Numerical computations illu
The main result is the determination of Green's function in bi-polar coordinates for the potential equation for a non-concentric annular region. This is then used to solve Poisson's equation for the point velocity in laminar incompressible flow between non-concentric circular cylinders.
