โฆ Synopsis
This paper deals with the global exact boundary controllability of a class of quasilinear hyperbolic systems of conservation laws with linearly degenerate characteristics. It is shown that the system with nonlinear boundary conditions is globally exactly boundary controllable in the class of piecewise C 1 functions. Some physical and mechanical applications are given.

This paper deals with the global exact controllability for first-order quasilinear hyperbolic systems of diagonal form with linearly degenerate characteristics. When the system has no zero characteristics, we establish the global exact boundary controllability from one arbitrarily preassigned C 1 da
In this paper, the exact boundary controllability of nodal profile is established for quasilinear hyperbolic systems with general nonlinear boundary and interface conditions in a tree-like network with general topology. The basic principles for giving nodal profiles and for choosing boundary control
