✦ Synopsis
Two series of (styrene)-(methyl methacrylate) of copolymers were used for determination of the glass transition temperature (Tg), applying DTA and chromatographic measurements. The influence of average molecular weight on Tg was investigated for the first series and the influence of copolymer composition was studied for the second. The results from the two methods are in satisfactory agreement, confirming that the inverse chromatographic method can lead to good results for Tg of copolymers.
