Low frequency Raman spectra of glasses of the types (BaO), \* (B203)1-I and (BaCl,),. -[(BaO), -(B,Os),\_,\_,]t\_, have been reported. The temperature reduced Raman spectra show peaks at 67, 116 and 14Ocm-' for the binary glass. The bands at 116 and 14Ocn-' are ascribed to the librational motions of
