✦ Synopsis


Clariant recently completed a €3.8 M project to improve process efficiency at its high-performance organic pigments facilities on the Frankfurt-Hoechst site. The company installed new drying equipment designed to cut down on process times and to reduce pigment drying costs by 20%. In August 2002, Clariant achieved a new monthly output record for highperformance pigments -272 tonnes, mostly pinks and violets.
