## Abstract An analytical method for measuring rosmarinic acid (RA) and luteolin (Lut), the major polyphenolic substances in __Perilla frutescens__ Britton (Labiatae) was established. High‐performance liquid chromatography was used to determine the concentration of RA in perilla leaf solutions prep
