β¦ Synopsis
By a series of nuclear magnetic double-resonance experiments it is shown t-hat the geminaL H-H and H-C ccupling constants of group IV hydrides are increasing from C to Pb in accordance with a -qualitative argument on the basis of molecular orbital theory.
