Permeability coefficients have been measured for CO, and CH, in polyethylene membranes at 20, 30, and 40ยฐC and at applied gas pressures up to ca. 2 MPa and for CH, in three kinds of rubber films at 25, 30, and 35OC and at applied gas pressures up to ca. 2.4 MPa. The pressure dependence of the logari
Gas-selective polymer membranes have long been used in industrial applications. Studies of polymers with well-defined flexible phenyl ether segments such as 1 should contribute to the understanding of the selection mechanism and thus ultimately lead to the synthesis of optimized membrane materials.
The transport phenomena of oxygen and nitrogen across a pure polycarbonate (PC) and CoAlPO 4 -5/PC membranes were studied. Various CoAlPO 4 -5 membranes with different cobalt content were added to polycarbonate membranes to improve the gas transport performance. Oxygen and nitrogen isotherms were st
