## Abstract Cellular precipitation in Fe/Zn system was studied by electron microscope methods. Experimental results, obtained by Speich, Predel and Frebel and the present authors were used to test equation (3) of Cahn's theory. The value of the specific surface energy Οƒ of the Γ‐ferrite interface
