The reaction

(3) i-CpF, + CCli-C3F&l + CCl3 was investigated in the gas phase over the range 80-225°C using the photolysis of heptafluoroisopropyl iodide as the source of radicals. The rate constant, based on the value of 1013 36 cm3 mol log(k3/cm3 mol-' s-l) = (13.10 2 0.20) -(14000 * 280)/0 where 0 = 2.303 RT/cal mol-'.
