## Abstract A new kind of side chain liquid crystalline polysiloxane containing a crown ether with a longer spacer (PSCโ11) has been prepared and coated on a fused silica capillary column. The main chromaโtographic characteristics including efficiency, polarity, and selectivity have been examined.

## Abstract Two new categories of stationary phase have been studied: liquid crystals and polyesters. The liquid crystals were __p__,__p__โฒโazoxyphenetol, __p__(__n__โhexyloxy)phenylโ__p__โฒโmethoxy benzoate, and __p__โpentyloxyโ__p__โฒโethoxyazoxybenzene; and the polyester phases 1,4โbutanediol succ
A sensitive and selective method is described for the simultaneous determination of morganic and organic mercury compounds. The mercury compounds are extracted into toluene or chloroform with dithizone, and the dithizonates are separated by liquid chromatography on an ODS column. Complete resolution
## Abstract Solid phase microextraction (SPME) was applied in the development of a protocol for the analysis of a number of target organic compounds in landfill site samples. The selected analytes, including aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated hydrocarbous, and unsaturated compounds, were absorbed d
