โฆ Synopsis
This paper considers the absorption of a gas with a first order chemical reaction and large heat effect. The partial differential equations describing the process are converted into differential difference equations which are solved recursively.
Results for the CO,-NaOH system are computed and compared with similar results anived at by another worker using a purely numerical technique.
