โฆ Synopsis
GaAs Code Ltd was formed in 1988 as a software company dealing in device physical methods for FET and HEMT design, GaAs IC process design and MMIC design. The company develops and sells commercial software packages for these purposes, and undertakes contract work on both sole contractor basis, and as a collaborating partner in large consortia projects.
G aAs Code's commercial software, which is all personal computer (PC)-based, performs both forward and reverse modelling functions. The purpose of a forward modelling simulator is to calculate the bias-dependent equivalent circuit, S-parameters, power gains, noise figure and associated gain, from a physical (or technological) specification of the device material and structure. A reverse modelling package analyses measured S-parameters (for example, gate length), in the process fitting physically sensible equivalent circuit in typically less than 1 second.
