✦ Synopsis

Abstrae~A process was developed which employs polyurethane foam particles to immobilize C. roseus cells. Owing to the fuzziness in the growth of the immobilized cells, a fuzzy time serial analysis was used to formulate a non-linear model to describe the immobilized cell growth kinetics. This model can be used to predict the variation of cell fresh weight with changing time, and it gives a distribution that accounts for the fuzziness of the immobilized plant cell culture system.
