A theoretical approach and numerical simulation of a microstrip array for dual linear polarization are presented. The radiating element consists of two electromagnetic coupled patches fed by two microstrips that allow us to radiate two orthogonal polarized fields. The ( ) theoretical method is based

✦ Synopsis
A dual-band circular wa¨eguide polarizer for TTC teleme-) try, tracking, and command applications is presented. The structure is composed of two corrugated metal sheets inside a circular wa¨eguide allowing easy manufacturing and low cost. A rigorous CAD which combines the mode-matching and the finite-element techniques ( ) ( ) MM᎐FEM permits us to obtain the generalized scattering matrix GSM and to take into account the higher order mode interaction between the step discontinuities. The experimental polarizer results show excellent agreement with theory.
