โœฆ Synopsis

Dynamic sealing

flow control valve, flow tube, metering float, pressure gauge, check valve, and necessary pipe connections.

Two versions of Seal Gard are available. Seal Gard I is intended for use with any single Dura Seal as well as packed stuffing boxes. Seal Gard II has been designed to be used with a double or tandem Dura Seal or packed, "balanced" stuffing boxes; this version is equipped with dual flowmeters and two flow control valves.

A key feature of the Seal Gard is its ability to control flows at low flush rates. A specially designed triangular port, incorporated into the flow control valve of the flow-meter, resists plugging even from larger-sized particulates that would readily block conventional needle-type flow control valves. The flow control valve is also designed to resist tampering with pre-established flow control settings.

Another option available is a constant-flow regulator. This device provides the constant flow necessary for the operation of a Dura Seal in systems where variations can occur in the seal flush supply pressure or in the back pressure from the seal chamber. The Seal Gard, combined with these two optional features, provides total control of the sealing environment in a convenient, easy-to-instaU package.

Seal Gard products are suited to applications in the pulp and paper industry as well as general industry, the chemical process industries, power, and non-API services in the petroleum industry.
