โฆ Synopsis
Condensation of argon/HF mixtures at 12 I( revealed sharp new 38X.5 and 3702.0 cm-' absorptions which exhibited different growth behaviour on sample warming. hlixed HF/DF samples revealed a single mixed isotopic satellite near the DF counterpart of the former band assigned to (HF)z and a group of satellites for the latter band assigned to (HF)3_

Calcium atoms have been reacted with NO and NO2 upon condensation at high dilution in argon at 15 K. Infrared absorptions at 1357 and 455 cm-\* show appropriate isotopic shifts to be due to @I -O)-and Caf -(NO)-viirations in the Ca%O-species. A strong band at 1244 cm-l is due to YJ of NO; in the Ca?
