โฆ Synopsis
Lattice dynamical calculations are reported for two possible space groups (Pnma and Cmc21). The force constants were found by varying the paramete 1's in appropriate semi-empirical inter-atomic potentia1 functions to obtain agreement with observed infra-red absorption frequencies.
A frequency distribution is given for the more probable Cmc21 structure.
